【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=민주평화통일자문회의 단양군협의회는 지난 26일 오전 11시 단양군청 소회의실에서 단양군수와 자문위원 등 25명이 참석한 가운데 「한반도 평화공존을 위한 대내외 정책 추진방향」을 주제로 2026년 1분기 정기회의를 개최했다.

  이날 회의는 개회식을 시작으로 자문위원 통일의견수렴, 2026년 주요 사업계획 논의 순으로 진행됐다.

  김종태 협의회장은 개회사에서 “급변하는 대내외 환경 속에서 한반도 평화공존을 위한 실효성 있는 정책 방향 설정이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “자문위원들의 다양한 현장 의견이 정부 정책에 충실히 반영되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

  김문근 단양군수는 “한반도 평화공존 정책이 실질적인 성과로 이어지기 위해서는 지역사회의 공감과 참여가 필수적”이라며 “지역 차원의 통일 공감대 확산과 정책 기반 조성을 위해 군에서도 적극 협력하겠다”고 밝혔다

  자문위원들은 이재명 정부 출범을 계기로 한반도와 동북아의 안정과 평화 정착, 남북관계 전환의 계기 마련, 평화통일 여건 조성을 위한 정책 방향등에 대해 다양한 의견을 제시했다.

  한편 단양군협의회는 평화·통일 공감 아카데미와 시민교실, 안보현장 견학 등을 통해 국민참여형 통일의견수렴과 평화문화 확산에 힘쓰고, 미래세대 육성과 통일기반 조성을 위해 지속적으로 노력해 나갈 계획이다.
