【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양군이 군민 중심의 통합돌봄 체계 구축을 위한 본격 행보에 나섰다.

군은 지난 25일 “살고 싶은 단양, 돌봄이 함께하는 건강한 단양”을 비전으로 ‘통합지원협의체’ 발대식을 개최하고 지역 맞춤형 통합돌봄 추진 기반을 마련했다고 밝혔다.

이번에 출범한 통합지원협의체는 단양 전역을 아우르는 민·관 협력 추진체계로, 고령화와 1인 가구 증가 등 지역 여건 변화에 대응해 보다 촘촘한 돌봄 안전망을 구축하는 데 목적이 있다.

협의체는 앞으로 ▲지역계획 수립 및 평가에 관한 사항 ▲통합지원 시책 추진에 관한 사항 ▲통합지원 관련 기관 간 연계·협력에 관한 사항 등을 심의·자문하는 역할을 수행하게 된다.

이날 발대식은 통합지원협의체 위원 위촉장 전달을 시작으로 통합돌봄 사업 설명과 그간 추진경과 보고, 통합돌봄의 유기적 협력체계 구축을 위한 업무협약식 순으로 진행됐다. 

이어 단양군 통합돌봄사업의 발전 방향에 대한 논의가 이어졌으며, 20여 명의 위원들은 지역 실정에 맞는 통합돌봄 실현을 위해 상호 협력 의지를 다졌다.

군 관계자는 “통합지원협의체를 구심점으로 어르신과 취약계층이 살던 곳에서 안전하고 건강하게 생활할 수 있도록 촘촘한 지역 돌봄망을 구축해 나가겠다”며 “군민이 체감할 수 있는 통합돌봄 서비스를 단계적으로 확대하겠다”고 말했다.
