【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군이 김영환 도지사 방문을 통해 콤팩트 시티의 정체성과 정책 역량을 대내외에 확실히 알렸다.

군은 24일 군청 및 지역 내 주요 현장에서 ‘김영환 충북지사 증평 방문 및 도민과의 대화’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 충북도의 비전을 공유하고 도-군 간 상호 발전 방안을 모색하기 위해 마련됐다.

이날 일정은 도정과 군정의 협력 모델이 집약된 핵심 거점 방문에 집중됐다. 

이재영 군수는 모든 일정에 동행하며 군이 지향하는 ‘스마트 혁신·콤팩트 시티’의 비전을 김 지사에게 직접 설명했다.

주요 방문지는 △도시재생을 통해 문화 공간으로 새롭게 탈바꿈한 메리놀 마을창작소 △충북도의 생산적 복지 정책 ‘일하는 밥퍼’ 사업장인 증천1리 경로당 △촘촘한 돌봄망의 핵심 기지인 돌봄나눔플러스센터 등이다.

현장마다 간담회가 열려 지역 문화예술인, 일하는 밥퍼 사업 참여자, 돌봄정책 관계자들의 목소리를 청취했다.

군청 대회의실에서 열린 도정보고회에는 주민 150여 명이 참석했다.

김 지사는 직접 올해 도정 운영 비전을 설명하고, 지역 주민들과 증평과 충북 발전을 위한 건의 사항을 주고받는 소통의 시간도 가졌다.
