【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군보건소는 지난 11일 열린 ‘2025년 충청북도 통합건강증진사업 성과대회’에서 지난해에 이어 2년 연속 통합건강증진사업 우수사례 부문 장려상을 수상했다고 밝혔다.

이번 성과대회는 지역사회 통합건강증진사업을 통해 보건소 건강증진 사업의 성과를 조명하고, 지자체별 우수사례를 공유·확산하기 위해 마련됐다.

보건소는 65세 이상 노인 인구와 1인 가구 비율 증가, 고혈압·당뇨병 등 만성질환의 높은 유병률, 방문건강관리 대상자의 84%가 고령층이라는 지역 특성을 반영해 AI-IoT 기반 노인 건강관리 사업을 중점 추진했다.

특히 건강측정기기와 모바일 기반 관리 시스템을 활용해 노인들의 일상 속 건강 상태를 지속적으로 관리하고 이상 징후 발생 시 신속한 상담과 연계를 통해 맞춤형 건강관리 서비스를 제공한 점이 사업의 실효성을 높였다는 평가다.

이를 통해 생활밀착형 건강관리 서비스 제공과 상시 모니터링 체계를 구축하고, 자기주도적 건강관리 환경을 조성해 만성질환 관리와 건강행태 개선, 포용적 의료서비스 제공에 기여한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.

홍종란 보건소장은 “직원들의 협력으로 지역 특성에 맞는 건강관리 서비스를 추진해 2년 연속 수상이라는 성과를 거둘 수 있었다”며 “앞으로도 군민 건강 증진을 위한 사업을 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 말했다.
