【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 보은군은 오는 19일까지 ‘농가와 지역이 함께 살아나는 축산업 육성’을 위한 내년도 축산·방역 분야 지원사업 신청 접수한다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업은 축산 농가의 소득 증대와 사육환경 개선, 가축 질병 예방과 방역 체계 강화를 목표로 추진되며, 총 41개 사업에 29억여 원의 예산이 투입될 예정이다.

지원사업에는 △지능형 교배시기 탐지기 지원 △가축 기후변화 대응시설 설치 △축사 환경개선 및 가축분뇨 처리 지원을 비롯해 △친환경축산 인증, △가축 질병 예방을 위한 방역 인프라 확충 △양봉농가 기자재 지원 등 축산업 전반을 아우르는 다양한 세부사업이 포함돼 있다.

군은 이번 사업을 통해 축산업이 지역 환경과 조화를 이루며 지속가능하게 발전할 수 있도록 하고, 농가 경영 안정을 도모하는 한편 쾌적한 축산 환경 조성으로 주민 삶의 질 향상에도 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

신청 대상은 축산업 허가 또는 등록을 완료한 농가로, 사업 참여를 희망하는 농가는 각 사업 지침에 따른 지원 자격과 요건을 확인한 뒤 신청서를 농장 소재지 읍·면 행정복지센터 산업팀에 기한 내 제출해야 한다.

김은숙 축산과장은 “이번 지원사업은 축산 농가의 경영 부담을 완화하고 가축 질병 예방과 환경 개선을 동시에 추진하기 위한 것”이라며 “축산업이 지역사회와 상생하며 지속적으로 성장할 수 있도록 많은 농가의 적극적인 참여를 바란다”고 말했다.

한편 보은군은 환경부가 주관한 ‘2026년 가축분뇨 공공처리시설’ 대상사업지로 최종 선정돼 총사업비 304억원(국비 243억, 군비 60억원)을 투입해 장안면 오창리에 최신식 가축분뇨 처리시설을 설치할 예정이다.
