【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 충청북도 ‘2025년 지역상생 일자리 사업 시·군 성과평가’에서 우수 기관으로 선정됐다고 12일 밝혔다.

시는 지난 11일 청주 오스코에서 열린 ‘지역상생 일자리 시상식’에서 기관 표창(우수)과 함께 재정인센티브 1억 원을 확보했다.

시는 일손이 부족한 농가 195개소에 4,265명을 매칭해 인력난을 적시에 해소하는 성과를 거뒀다.

또한, 지역 내 기업·소상공인 86개소에 유휴인력 39,897명을 연계해 올해 목표량인 39,770명을 초과 달성하는 쾌거를 이루었다.

특히, 도시근로자 지원사업 추진 시 출산·육아로 인해 경력이 단절되거나 가족 병간호 등으로 장기 근로가 어려운 유휴인력 고용을 창출하고, 기업과 소상공인의 인력난을 해소하는 등 근로자와 고용자 모두에게 혜택이 되는 결과를 이끌어 냈다는 점에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

조길형 시장은 “지역상생 일자리 사업이 농가 및 기업과 소상공인의  인력난 해소와 일자리 창출에 큰 기여가 됐다”라며, “앞으로도 시민들이 체감할 수 있는 내실 있는 일자리 사업 운영에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.
