【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=2025제천국제한방천연물산업엑스포조직위원회는 지난 11일, 제천한방엑스포공원 일원에서 직원 전원이 참여하는 환경정비 봉사활동을 펼치며 조직위의 공식 활동을 뜻깊게 마무리했다.

조직위는 지난 10월 19일 성황리에 폐막한 이후, 곧바로 임시시설 철거와 행사장 부지 정리에 착수해서 11월말 주요 시설물 철거를 모두 마쳤다. 

이날 환경정비 봉사활동은 엑스포 폐막식과 유사한 조직위 해단식 행사 대신, 행사로 사용된 공간을 정비해 시민의 품으로 깨끗하게 돌려드린 뒤 자연스럽게 해산하자는 직원들의 제안에 따라 추진된 것이다.

이날 오전에는 관람객이 이용했던 주요 공간과 동선을 중심으로 잔여 시설물 정비, 쓰레기 수거, 안내물 제거 등의 활동이 이뤄졌고, 오후에는 약 2년간 조직위 사무실로 사용되었던 약초허브식물원 내 사무공간 정리 및 내부 청소가 진행됐다.

한편, 조직위원회는 현재 엑스포 사후성과 분석 및 백서 발간 작업도 마무리 단계에 있으며, 연말까지 이를 완료해 엑스포의 모든 운영을 공식적으로 마무리할 예정이다. 백서에는 관람객 수, 기업 유치 성과뿐 아니라 프로그램 운영, 산업 전시 및 수출상담 성과, 민간 협력 성과 등 다양한 실적이 담길 예정이다.

Meanwhile, the Organizing Committee is currently finalizing the post-Expo performance analysis and publication of a white paper, which it plans to complete by the end of the year to officially conclude all Expo operations. The white paper will include a variety of performances, including visitor numbers, company attraction results, program operation, industrial exhibition and export consultation outcomes, and private sector collaboration.
