【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=국립한국교통대학교는 지난 12월 6일(금), 한국체육대학교에서  ‘2025 동계학술대회(이하 동계학술대회)’를 한국체육철학회와 공동 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 동계학술대회는 국립한국교통대학교 개교 120주년을 기념하고 체육학의 학문적 방향성을 모색하기 위해 체육이 인간을 위한 학문으로서 나아가야 할 철학적 기반과 방향성을 제시하는 데 목적을 두었으며, ‘체육철학자의 학문적 좌표’를 주제로 열렸다.

동계학술대회는 기조 강연과 2편의 발제가 진행되었고, 전국 각지에서 모인 교수진과 대학원생, 연구자 등 100여 명이 참석해 체육학과 철학 간의 접점을 논의하는 학문 교류의 장이 마련되었다.

또한, 전국 대학생 체육 아이디어 공모전 시상식이 함께 진행되었으며, 국립한국교통대학교는 출전팀 중 ‘도약팀’이 최우수상, ‘3 TRACK팀’이 우수상을 수상하며 우수한 성과를 거뒀다.

이와 함께 동계학술대회 기간 중 열린 총회에서는 국립한국교통대학교 스포츠산업학과 구강본 교수가 한국체육철학회 차기 회장(2028~2029년)으로 선출되는 성과도 이어졌다.

남중웅 스포츠산업학과 학과장은 “이번 학술대회는 국립한국교통대학교 120주년을 기념하는 동시에, 체육의 본질과 철학적 가치를 재조명한 뜻깊은 자리였다”라며 “앞으로도 우리 대학은 스포츠 연구역량을 강화해 체육의 사회적 가치와 미래 발전 방향을 제시하는 데 적극적으로 기여하겠다”라고 밝혔다.

Korea National University of Transportation and the Korean Society for the Philosophy of Sport Co-host the '25 Winter Academic Conference

Korea National University of Transportation announced on Friday, December 6th that it co-hosted the '2025 Winter Academic Conference (hereafter, the Winter Conference)' with the Korean Society for the Philosophy of Sport at Korea National University of Transportation.

This Winter Conference commemorated the 120th anniversary of the founding of Korea National University of Transportation and explored the academic direction of physical education. The conference aimed to present the philosophical foundation and direction for physical education as a discipline for humanity. Under the theme, "Academic Coordinates of a Philosopher of Sport."

The Winter Conference featured a keynote speech and two presentations. Approximately 100 faculty members, graduate students, and researchers from around the country attended, providing a forum for academic exchange and discussion on the intersection between physical education and philosophy.

The National University Sports Idea Contest awards ceremony was also held, and Korea National University of Transportation achieved outstanding results, with the "Leap Team" winning the grand prize and the "3 TRACK Team" winning the excellence award.

Furthermore, at the general meeting held during the winter conference, Professor Koo Gu-bon of the Department of Sports Industry at Korea National University of Transportation was elected as the next president of the Korean Society of Sports Philosophy (2028-2029).

Nam Jung-woong, head of the Department of Sports Industry, stated, "This conference was a meaningful opportunity to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Korea National University of Transportation and to reexamine the essence and philosophical value of sports.
