이날 간담회에는 보건의료원 관계자와 숙박업 영업자 23명이 참석해 ▲합리적 숙박요금 운영방안(바가지요금 근절) ▲고객응대 및 친절서비스 강화 ▲공중위생 수준 향상 ▲시설·환경개선 지원방안 등 다양한 현안과 개선 과제를 폭넓게 논의했다.

특히 성수기 요금 관련 민원을 사전에 예방하기 위해 가격 안정화와 투명한 요금 운영이 필요하다는 데 의견을 같이했으며, 친절서비스 강화와 철저한 위생관리로 관광객 만족도를 높이는 데 상호 협력하기로 했다.

군은 내년 성수기 전에 숙박요금 관련 갈등을 줄이고 지역 이미지 향상에 기여할 수 있도록 업계와의 소통을 지속해 나갈 계획이다.

보건의료원 관계자는 “숙박요금과 서비스 품질은 단양 관광의 신뢰도와 직결되는 중요한 요소”라며 “업계와 꾸준히 협력해 민원 예방과 서비스 개선, 공중위생 수준 향상을 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
