【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군보건소는 11일 청주 S컨벤션에서 열린 2025년 충청북도 통합건강증진사업 성과대회에서 기관 우수상을 수상했다.

충청북도가 주관한 이번 성과대회는 도내 시군 보건소의 우수 건강증진사업 사례를 공유하고 확산하기 위해 마련됐다. 

증평군보건소는 ‘어르신이 이끄는 건강한 실천–건강을 잇는 사람들’을 주제로 고령화가 빠르게 진행되는 지역 특성을 반영한 주민 참여형 우수사례를 발표했다.

스스로 건강을 관리하는 데서 나아가, 지역 주민에게 건강생활 문화를 전파하는 역할까지 수행할 수 있도록 프로그램을 설계한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.

특히 △심화과정을 통한 건강홍보대사 양성 △만성질환 어르신 대상 자조모임 운영 △생활터 중심의 건강환경 조성 △지속 가능한 건강실천 프로그램 확대 등 군민 참여형 건강생태계를 구축한 노력도 우수사례 선정의 주요 요인으로 평가됐다.

군 보건소 관계자는 “어르신 스스로 건강을 지키고 지역사회 전반에 긍정적 변화를 이끌어낼 수 있는 건강친화 환경 조성을 위해 앞으로도 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

The Jeungpyeong County Public Health Center in North Chungcheong Province received the Institutional Excellence Award at the 2025 Chungcheongbuk-do Integrated Health Promotion Project Achievement Competition held at the S Convention in Cheongju on the 11th.

Hosted by North Chungcheong Province, this competition was designed to share and disseminate excellent health promotion project examples from public health centers in the province.

Under the theme of "Healthy Practices Led by Seniors – People Connecting Health," the Jeungpyeong County Public Health Center presented best practices for resident participation that reflected the characteristics of a rapidly aging region.

The program received high praise for its design, which not only encourages residents to manage their own health but also promotes a culture of healthy living among local residents.

In particular, efforts to build a community-based health ecosystem, including fostering health ambassadors through intensive courses, operating self-help groups for seniors with chronic conditions, creating a healthy environment centered on their daily lives, and expanding sustainable health practice programs, were also recognized as key factors in the selection as a best practice.

A county health center official stated, "We will continue to do our best to create a health-friendly environment where seniors can protect their own health and drive positive change throughout the community."
