【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 지난 10일 오후 2시 3층 중회의실에서 ‘2025년 자랑스러운 교통운수종사자’에게 표창패를 수여했다.

시는 매년 교통편의 증진, 선진 교통문화 정착 등을 위해 헌신한 운수업계 종사자들을 선정해 노고에 감사하고 직업적 사명감을 높이는 취지로 ‘자랑스러운 운수종사자 표창패 수여식’을 진행하고 있다.

올해 수상자는 택시업계, 화물업계, 교통지도 봉사단체, 자동차 정비업체 등에서 각각 추천받은 운수업계 종사자 24명이다.

특히, 승객의 안전한 승하차를 도와줬다는 시민제보를 통해 추천받은 충주교통 정인교 기사 등 지역사회의 시민 일상 속에서 활약한 운수종사자들이 선정돼 의미를 더했다.

조길형 충주시장은 “어려운 여건 속에서 교통 서비스 제공에 최선을 다해주신 모든 교통·운수종사자 분들에게 감사드린다”며 “운수업계와 적극 소통하여 더 나은 교통문화 정착에 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Chungju City Awards '25 Proud Transportation Workers' Plaques
