【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도교육청은 11일, 교육문화원에서 도내 유‧초‧중‧고‧특수학교 행정실장 및 교감, 업무담당자 등 800여 명을 대상으로 2026학년도 학교회계 예산편성 및 집행지침 설명회를 개최했다. 

이번 설명회는 2026학년도 학교회계의 예산편성과 집행에 대한 통일된 기준 및 세부 지침을 공유하고 각급 학교가 예산을 자율적이면서도 책임 있게 운영할 수 있도록 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.

충북교육청은 ▲학교회계 예산편성 기본 방향 ▲예산 교부 기준 ▲세출예산 집행지침 주요 개정사항 등을 실무 중심으로 안내하여 참석자들의 실질적인 업무 이해를 도왔다.

특히, 충북교육청은 2026년도 예산이 전년도보다 대폭 감액된 어려운 재정 여건 속에서도 학교기본운영비, 학생 안전, 교육 활동 등 학교 교육의 필수 기능에 대한 예산은 최대한 유지했다며, 각급 학교의 효율적인 예산 집행을 강조했다.

윤건영 교육감은 “예산이 어려운 때일수록 학교 교육의 본질을 지키는 것이 무엇보다 중요하다.”라며, “이번 설명회가 학교 현장 업무담당자의 실무 역량을 높이는 계기가 되고, 투명하고 책임 있는 예산 운영의 기반이 되길 바란다.”라고 밝혔다.

한편, 충북교육청은 오는 15일(월)에는 중원교육문화원에서 북부권 학교를 대상으로 설명회를 이어갈 예정이다.
