자동이체를 신청한 납세자는 납부일 전 통장 잔액을 반드시 확인해야 한다.

전자고지를 신청한 경우 종이 고지서가 발송되지 않으며, 네이버·페이코·카카오페이 및 주요 은행 앱을 통해 고지 내역을 확인하고 즉시 납부할 수 있다. 

또한 전자고지와 자동납부를 함께 신청할 경우 건당 최대 1,000원의 세액 공제 혜택을 받을 수 있어, 종이 절약을 통한 탄소중립 실천에도 기여할 수 있다. 

이에 군은 전자고지 신청을 적극 권장하고 있다.

군 관계자는 “납부 기한을 넘길 경우 3%의 가산세가 부과될 뿐 아니라 번호판 영치, 재산압류 등 불이익이 발생할 수 있다”며 “군민들께서는 기한 내 자동차세를 꼭 납부해 주시기 바란다”고 당부했다.
