【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군이 충북형 RISE 읍면 평생학습으로 지역맞춤형 학습 생태계를 구현해 가고 있다.

  군은 교육부와 서원대학교가 공동 추진하는 ‘충북형 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계)’시범사업에 선정돼 올해부터 5년간 평생학습 분야 지원 기회를 마련했다.

  이 사업은 교육부의 RISE(지역혁신중심 대학지원체계) 사업의 하나로, 대학과 지방자치단체가 협력해 지역 주민에게 맞춤형 평생학습 기회를 제공하는 지역주도형 평생학습 모델이다.

  이에 따라 군은 9월부터 7개 각 읍면에서 총 18개 프로그램, 207회 수업을 운영했으며 255명의 주민이 참여했다.

  이를 통해 읍면 중심의 평생학습 기반을 확립하고, 주민이 스스로 참여하는 지속가능한 학습 생태계 조성에 가시적인 성과를 거두고 있다.

  프로그램은 미술심리상담사, 타로심리상담사, 캘리그라피, 훌라댄스 등 자격·취미·정서 치유 중심의 강좌뿐 아니라 스마트폰 활용, AI 기초활용 등 디지털 역량강화 과정도 포함해 세대 간 학습 격차 해소에도 큰 역할을 했다.

  또한, 지역에서 양성된 평생학습 활동가 2명이 평생학습매니저로 활동하며 프로그램 운영 전반을 관리하고, 지역 강사 6명이 직접 강의에 참여해 지역인재 활용과 일자리 창출 측면에서도 성과를 거뒀다.

  한편 서원대학교는 강사 매칭과 운영 모니터링 등 전 과정에 참여해 지자체-대학 간 협력 모델을 강화했으며, 이는 책임있는 공동운영 체계의 모범사례로 평가받고 있다.

  윤미선 군 평생학습센터 주무관은 “충북형 RISE 사업을 통해 생활권 내 학습기반이 확대되고, 지역대학과의 협업체계가 안정적으로 정착돼 가고 있다”며 “앞으로도 주민 맞춤형 학습 체계를 확대해 모두가 배움으로 연결되는 평생학습도시를 만들어가겠다”고 밝혔다.
