【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 귀농‧귀촌을 희망하는 도시민을 대상으로 지난 8월부터 추진한 ‘충북에서 살아보기’ 2기 프로그램을 성황리에 마무리했다고 2일 밝혔다.

해당 프로그램은 도시민에게 농촌의 가치와 생활 매력을 직접 체험할 기회를 제공함으로써, 실질적인 귀농‧귀촌 준비를 지원하는 데 목적이 있다.

‘충북에서 살아보기’ 2기에는 총 3가구가 삼성면 대실농촌체험휴양마을 내 숙소에서 4개월간 거주하며 농촌 생활과 농촌 일자리 체험, 마을 주민과의 교류 등 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다. 

참가자들은 주민들과의 교류를 통해 농촌의 공동체 문화를 경험하고, 직접 텃밭을 가꾸며 농산물을 수확하는 등 다양한 실습을 통해 신체적·정신적 힐링의 효과를 얻었다고 평가했다.

이의식 농촌활력과장은 “상반기에 했던 1기 참가자들과 마찬가지로 성공적으로 프로그램을 마무리해 만족한다”며 “참가하신 분들의 앞으로 있을 귀농‧귀촌 생활에 이번 프로그램이 큰 도움이 되길 바란다”고 밝혔다.

한편 군은 귀농‧귀촌 관련 체험 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하고, 도시민과 농촌 간 교류 확대와 지역 활성화를 위해 최선의 노력을 다할 방침이다.
