【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 괴산군는 농업기술센터 소속 박석중 소득작목팀장이 제7회 동오 농업과학기술인상에서 대상의 영예를 안았다고 2일 밝혔다.

동오 농업과학기술인상은 농업기술 개발과 보급을 선도하고 한국 농업의 국가 경쟁력 향상과 농가소득 증대에 기여한 우수 농업과학기술인에게 수여하는 상이다.

박 팀장은 ▲원예 특작 분야 시범사업 추진 ▲이상기상 대응 병해충 예찰 및 방제 ▲재해 대응 체계 구축 ▲스마트농업 기술 확대·보급 ▲농업인 교육 등 다양한 업무를 수행하며 현장 중심의 지도사업을 통해 지역 농업인의 어려움 해소에 앞장서 왔다.

특히 채소 특화단지 조성, 고추 부직포 막덮기 신기술 단지 조성 등을 통해 고품질 안정 생산체계 구축 및 이상기상 피해 저감, 농가소득 향상 등 창의적이고 실효성 높은 농업기술 확산을 주도한 점이 높은 평가를 받았다.

박석중 팀장은 ”동료들의 협조와 격려 덕분에 큰 상을 받게 되어 감사하다”며 “앞으로도 괴산군 농업의 경쟁력 강화를 위해 기술지도에 최선을 다하겠다”고 수상소감을 전했다.

한편 박석중 팀장은 2021년 한국농업기술보급대상 주니어분야 우수상, 농림축산식품부 장관상, 2024년 농촌진흥청 주관 지역특화작목 육성 대상 및 병해충·기상재해 분야 최우수상 등을 수상한 바 있다.
