【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=(사)제천국제음악영화제는 12월 2일 제천시청 박달재실에서 ‘제21회 제천국제음악영화제 성과보고회’를 개최했다.

이번 보고회에는 김창규 제천시장, 박영기 제천시의회 의장, 장항준 제천국제음악영화제 집행위원장을 비롯해 약 40명의 관계자가 참석했다. 참석자들은 세명대학교 산학협력단의 제21회 영화제 성과평가 연구용역 결과 발표와 영화제 사무국의 제21회 영화제 결과 보고, 그리고 제22회 영화제 추진 방향을 청취한 뒤 질의응답을 이어갔다.

이날 보고회에서는 전문가 및 방문객 평가를 바탕으로 영화제의 주요 성과와 만족도, 개선 사항, 발전 방향, 경제적 효과 등을 종합적으로 분석한 연구 결과가 공유되었으며, 이를 토대로 향후 영화제의 발전 가능성에 대해 논의하는 시간을 가졌다.

김창규 제천시장은 “제21회 제천국제음악영화제는 어느 해보다 많은 관람객의 참여와 시민들의 높은 관심을 얻으며 괄목할 만한 성과를 거두었지만, 주상영관 시설 노후 등 아쉬운 점들도 있었다”며, “제22회 영화제는 평가 연구 용역의 결과를 바탕으로 시민과 관람객, 영화인 모두가 만족하며 즐길 수 있는, 예술성과 대중성이 조화된 축제가 될 수 있도록 노력해 달라”고 주문했다.

Jecheon City Holds 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival Performance Evaluation Report

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) held the "21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival Performance Report" at the Park Dal-jae Room in Jecheon City Hall on December 2nd.

Approximately 40 officials attended the report, including Jecheon Mayor Kim Chang-gyu, Jecheon City Council Chairman Park Young-gi, and Jecheon International Music & Film Festival Executive Committee Chairman Jang Hang-jun. Participants listened to the Semyung University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation's presentation of the results of the 21st Film Festival Performance Evaluation Research Project, the Festival Secretariat's report on the 21st Film Festival's results, and the Festival's direction for the 22nd Film Festival, followed by a Q&A session.

The report shared the results of a comprehensive analysis of the festival's key achievements, satisfaction levels, areas for improvement, future directions, and economic impact, based on expert and visitor evaluations. Based on these findings, the participants discussed the festival's future development potential.

Jecheon Mayor Kim Chang-gyu stated, "The 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival achieved remarkable results, attracting more visitors than ever before and garnering significant public interest. However, there were also some shortcomings, such as the aging main screening facilities." He urged, "Based on the results of the evaluation study, I ask that you strive to create a festival that harmonizes artistry and appeal, one that citizens, audiences, and filmmakers alike can enjoy."

The Jecheon International Music & Film Festival plans to faithfully reflect the challenges identified in this performance report, strengthen the professionalism and stability of its operations, and develop it into a sustainable festival that grows alongside the local community.
