【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=청주대학교 RISE사업단 K-항공MRO 융합인재양성센터는 최근 교내에서 ‘2025학년도 K-항공MRO 융합인재양성 취업지원 프로그램’을 진행했다고 2일 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 항공 MRO(정비·수리·운영) 분야에 진로를 희망하는 참여 학생들을 대상으로, 풍부한 실무 정보와 네트워킹 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다. 

특히 헬리코리아의 고이근 부사장이 특별 강연자로 초청돼 강연을 진행, 눈길을 끌었다.

고이근 부사장은 강연에서 헬리코리아의 사업 영역, 항공 MRO 산업에서의 핵심 기술과 미래 전략, 인재에게 요구되는 역량 등에 대해 심도 있게 설명했다. 

또한 헬리코리아가 실제 채용 과정에서 중시하는 인재상과 신입 정비 인력이 성장하면서 경험할 수 있는 직무 및 경력 경로에 대해서도 구체적으로 조언했다.

청주대 항공기계공학과 이진후 교수는 “항공 MRO 산업은 전통적인 항공기 뿐만 아니라 미래형 수직이착륙기에도 필요한 산업 분야”라며 “앞으로도 K-항공MRO 융합인재양성센터는 지역 내 항공MRO 분야 인재 양성을 위해 다양한 산학협력 및 교육 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영할 예정”이라고 말했다.

K-항공MRO 융합인재양성센터장 김태형 교수는 “이번 프로그램이 학생들에게 MRO 산업에 대한 이해를 높이고 실무 중심의 취업 전략을 세우는 데 큰 도움이 됐다”고 평가했다.

Cheongju University's RISE Business Unit's K-Aviation MRO Convergence Talent Development Center announced on the 2nd that it recently launched the '2025 K-Aviation MRO Convergence Talent Development Employment Support Program' on campus.

This program was designed to provide students aspiring to pursue a career in aviation MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) with extensive practical information and networking opportunities.

Heli Korea Vice President Go Yi-geun, who was invited as a special lecturer, drew significant attention.

Vice President Go Yi-geun provided an in-depth explanation of Heli Korea's business areas, core technologies and future strategies in the aviation MRO industry, and the competencies required of qualified personnel.

He also provided specific advice on the talent Heli Korea prioritizes in its hiring process, as well as the job roles and career paths that new maintenance personnel can experience as they grow.

Professor Lee Jin-hoo of the Department of Aviation Mechanical Engineering at Cheongju University stated, "The aviation MRO industry is essential not only for traditional aircraft but also for future vertical takeoff and landing aircraft." He added, "The K-Aviation MRO Convergence Talent Development Center will continue to operate various industry-academic collaboration and educational programs to cultivate local aviation MRO talent."

Professor Kim Tae-hyung, Director of the K-Aviation MRO Convergence Talent Development Center, commented, "This program has been a great help in enhancing students' understanding of the MRO industry and developing practical employment strategies."
