【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=지난 29일 단양라이온스클럽과 서울라이온스클럽은 회원 50여 명이 참여한 가운데 대강면사무소에서 합동 ‘사랑의 김장 나눔’ 봉사를 실시했다.

이번 합동 봉사는 자매클럽인 서울라이온스클럽과 함께 따뜻한 겨울나기 일환으로 마련된 것으로, 지역 주민들을 위한 단양–서울 공동 봉사활동으로 추진됐다. 이날 두 클럽은 정성을 모아 김장김치 200상자(1,000kg)를 담았으며, 이 중 단양라이온스클럽은 단양지역 취약계층에 전달하기 위해 김장김치 60상자(300kg)를 대강면지역사회보장협의체(위원장 민경두)에 기탁했다.

서울라이온스클럽은 김장김치 140상자(700kg)를 서울지역 취약계층 시각장애인 가구에 전달해, 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 도왔다.

서울라이온스클럽 김종태 회장은 “겨울철 어려움을 겪는 소외계층에게 작은 도움이라도 드리고자 자매클럽인 단양라이온스클럽과 함께 합동 봉사를 진행하게 되어 뜻깊게 생각한다”며 “앞으로도 단양라이온스클럽과 함께 다양한 나눔 활동을 통해 따뜻한 온정을 전파하는 데 앞장서겠다”고 말했다.

단양라이온스클럽 방칠국 회장도 “서울라이온스클럽과 지속적인 합동 봉사를 추진해 자매클럽 간 교류를 확대해 나가겠다”며 “단양지역 복지 사각지대에 놓인 취약계층에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 봉사를 꾸준히 실천하겠다”고 밝혔다.

대강면지역사회보장협의체로 전달된 김장김치는 연말연시를 맞아 생활이 어려운 취약계층 60가구에 전달될 예정이다.

Danyang and Seoul Lions Clubs Hold 2025 Joint Kimchi Sharing Service

On the 29th, the Danyang and Seoul Lions Clubs held a joint "Kimchi Sharing" service at the Daegang-myeon Office, with approximately 50 members participating.

The Seoul Lions Club delivered 140 boxes (700 kg) of kimchi to visually impaired households in Seoul, helping them stay warm during the winter. Danyang Lions Club President Bang Chil-guk also stated, "We will continue to promote joint volunteer work with the Seoul Lions Club to expand exchanges between our sister clubs. We will continue to provide practical services that provide support to vulnerable groups in the Danyang area who are not currently covered by social welfare."

The kimchi delivered to the Daegang-myeon Community Welfare Council will be distributed to 60 vulnerable households facing financial hardship during the year-end and New Year's holidays.
