【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주시는 겨울철을 맞아 수안보온천을 찾아오는 관광객들을 위해 올해에도 수안보 족욕체험장을 휴장기간 없이 운영한다고 1일 밝혔다.

동절기 안정적인 관리를 위해 오는 2월 말까지 운영시간은 기존 12시에서 오후 8시까지에서 오후 5시까지로 변경하며 전체 족욕길 중 2개소에서 누구나 무료로 체험할 수 있다.

단, 시설 점검 및 원활한 관리를 위해 월, 화요일에는 휴무한다.

시는 기온 하강에 견딜 수 있는 시설보강과 함께 바람막이를 설치해 겨울철에도 쾌적하게 족욕을 즐길 수 있도록 환경 조성에 힘썼다.

또한, 정기적인 시설 점검으로 이용 편의에 빈틈이 없도록 관리한다는 계획이다.

지난 2018년에 조성된 수안보 족욕체험장은 국내 최초의 천연 온천지라는 명성에 걸맞게 깨끗한 온천수를 만날 수 있는 편안한 쉼터로 연중 많은 방문객의 사랑을 받고 있다.
