군에 따르면 지난 27일 단양군체육관 북관에서는 어르신들의 삶의 질 향상을 목표로 한 ‘스마트 경로당 개통식’이 성황리에 진행됐다. 행사장에는 김문근 단양군수, 이상훈 단양군의회 의장, 이덕홍 대한노인회 단양군지회장 등 지역 주요 인사와 관내 경로당 어르신, 주민 등 1,700여 명이 함께해 개통을 축하했다.

개통식은 ▲스마트 경로당 조성사업 추진 경과보고 ▲군수 기념사 및 내빈 축사 ▲개통 기념 세리머니 ▲스마트 경로당 온라인 시연 ▲축하공연 순으로 이어졌다. 

특히 단양군체육관 북관 기념식장과 관내 160개 스마트 경로당을 실시간으로 연결해 어르신들과 직접 소통하는 온라인 양방향 영상 인터뷰가 펼쳐지며 높은 관심을 모았다.

스마트 경로당 사업은 스마트 스튜디오 1개소와 160개 전 경로당을 클라우드 기반 양방향 화상회의 시스템으로 연계 구축한 것이 핵심이다. 이를 통해 각 경로당에서는 노래교실, 건강체조, 치매예방 교실 등 다양한 프로그램을 비대면 방식으로 수강하면서도, 화면을 통해 강사와 눈을 맞추고 즉각적으로 소통할 수 있는 환경이 마련됐다.
