연수는 교육공동체의 갈등을 조정하고 교원이 안심하고 교육활동에 전념할 수 있는 여건을 조성하기 위해 마련되었다.

교육활동보호센터가 운영하는 교육활동보호 지원 사업 안내, 교권침해 및 학교민원에 대한 학교관리자의 역할과 리더십 역량 강화 특강, 교육활동보호센터와 연계한 학교안전공제회의 갈등조정서비스 안내가 진행된다.

특히, 워크숍 특강에서 초중등교육법 개정으로 학교장의 교육활동 침해로 인한 민원대응 책무성이 강조된 현 상황에 필요한 교육활동 침해의 사례별 법률해석과 대응방안, 교권보호위원회 운영 사례 등을 자세하게 안내한다.

윤건영 교육감은 가르침과 배움이 있는 교육의 본질 회복을 강조하며, “선생님들이 안전하고 흔들림없이 교육에 전념할 수 있도록 교육활동 보호와 현장 지원에 더욱 힘을 기울여, 교육활동 침해 피해 교원에 대한 실질적 지원으로 교육활동에 전념할 수 있는 안정적인 교육환경하고 교육활동 보호 체계가 학교에 뿌리 내릴 수 있도록 하겠다.”라고 밝혔다.
