【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 진천군 보건소는 충청북도 2025년 암관리사업 평가대회 재가암관리 부문에서 최우수 기관으로 선정돼 도지사 표창을 받았다고 29일 밝혔다.

  군은 보건소 내부 타 사업과의 유기적인 연계를 통한 암환자 맞춤 건강 교육, 충북암생존자통합지지센터와의 활발한 협력, 홍보활동에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

  군은 그동안 지역사회중심재활사업과 재가암 관리를 연계해 암환자의 건강 정도에 따른 맞춤형 신체 재활 교육을 제공해 왔다.

  또 암생존자통합지지센터의 리플렛, 포스터 등의 자료를 활용한 연계 홍보, 충북지역암센터 건강강좌 홈페이지 게시 등 암 환자의 정보 접근성을 크게 높였다. 

  허선미 군 보건소장은 “여러 부서가 함께 참여하는 교육 체계와 지역암센터와의 긴밀한 연계가 좋은 평가로 이어진 것 같다”며 “앞으로도 재가암환자를 위한 다양하고 질적인 프로그램을 운영할 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

Jincheon County Public Health Center, North Chungcheong Province, announced on the 29th that it was selected as the top institution in the home-based cancer care category at the Chungcheongbuk-do 2025 Cancer Care Project Evaluation Competition and received a Governor's Award.

The county received high praise for its customized health education for cancer patients through organic collaboration with other projects within the public health center, active collaboration with the Chungbuk Cancer Survivor Support Center, and public relations activities.

The county has been providing customized physical rehabilitation education tailored to the health status of cancer patients by linking its community-based rehabilitation program with home-based cancer care.

Furthermore, the county has significantly improved access to information for cancer patients by utilizing materials such as leaflets and posters from the Cancer Survivor Support Center and posting health lectures on the Chungbuk Regional Cancer Center website.

Heo Seon-mi, head of the county health center, said, “I think the educational system in which various departments participate together and the close cooperation with the local cancer center led to the positive evaluation,” and added, “We will continue to strive to operate diverse and high-quality programs for home-based cancer patients.”
