  단순 이동 통로였던 구름다리가 지역 작가와 주민들의 작품을 전시하는 ‘미니 갤러리’로 변신하여 오가는 군민들과 직원들에게 일상 속에서 문화 예술을 접할 수 있는 새로운 창구 역할을 하고 있다.

  구름다리 전시 공간에서는 장애인 평생학습 지원사업 작품, 단양미술협회 회원 작품, 신단양 이주 40주년 기념 이주민 자서전 등 지역 공동체와 관련된 의미 있는 전시가 열려 큰 호응을 얻었다. 서예, 수필, 공예, 그림 등 다채로운 작품들이 전시되어 지역민의 자기 계발 결과물을 공유하고, 지역의 역사와 추억을 되새기는 장이 되었다는 평가다.

  이상훈 의장은 “의회 청사가 군민에게 더욱 친근하게 다가갈 수 있도록 다방면으로 고민하고 있다”며, “특히 구름다리 미니 갤러리가 지역 작가나 주민들의 작품을 공유하는 소통과 문화의 공간이 될 수 있도록 다양한 전시 기회를 마련하겠다”고 말했다.
