【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=충북 증평군은 (사)새한국문학회가 주최하고 소월·경암문화예술기념관이 주관한‘2025 송년 문학의 밤’행사가 27일 도안창고플러스에서 성황리에 마무리됐다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 한 해의 문학 활동을 돌아보고 문학인 및 지역 문화예술인들이 함께 소통하는 자리로 마련됐다.

행사는 인천시니어 오케스트라의 초청공연으로 문을 열었으며, 이어 회원과 초청 문인들이 참여한 시 낭송회가 진행돼 풍성한 문학적 감동을 선사했다. 

또 올해 문학과 지역 문화 발전에 기여한 인물을 선정하는 김소월문학상 공로부문 시상식도 함께 열렸다.

올해 김소월문학상 공로부문 수상자는 이재영 군수가 선정됐다.

이 군수는 지역 문학 기반 확충, 문화인프라 활성화, 문학행사 지원 등 문화 향유 기회 확대에 기여해온 노력을 높게 평가받았다.

이재영 군수는 “문학은 지역의 품격을 높이고 공동체를 더 단단하게 만드는 힘을 가지고 있다”며 “증평이 문학을 통해 더 풍요로운 도시로 성장할 수 있도록 문화인프라 확충과 문학 활동 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 말했다.

한편. 2019년 증평군 도안면에 건립된 소월·경암문화예술기념관은 무료 문학강좌, 시낭송회 등 다양한 문화 프로그램을 꾸준히 운영하며 지역주민과 호흡하는 열린 문화공간으로 자리 잡았다.

Jeungpyeong County, North Chungcheong Province, announced that the "2025 Year-End Literature Night," hosted by the New Korean Literature Society and organized by the Sowol and Gyeongam Cultural Arts Memorial Hall, successfully concluded on the 27th at Doan Warehouse Plus.

The event was designed to reflect on the year's literary activities and provide a forum for literary figures and local artists to connect with one another.

The event opened with a performance by the Incheon Senior Orchestra, followed by a poetry recital featuring members and invited writers, providing a rich literary experience.

The Kim Sowol Literature Award Merit Category Awards Ceremony was also held, recognizing individuals who have contributed to the development of literature and local culture this year.

This year's Kim Sowol Literature Award Merit Category recipient was County Mayor Lee Jae-young.

The county mayor was highly praised for his efforts to expand opportunities for cultural enjoyment, including expanding the local literary base, revitalizing cultural infrastructure, and supporting literary events.

Governor Lee Jae-young stated, "Literature has the power to elevate a region's dignity and strengthen its community. We will spare no effort in expanding cultural infrastructure and supporting literary activities so that Jeungpyeong can grow into a more prosperous city through literature."

Meanwhile, the Sowol-Gyeongam Cultural Arts Memorial Hall, established in Doan-myeon, Jeungpyeong County in 2019, has consistently offered various cultural programs, including free literature lectures and poetry readings, establishing itself as an open cultural space that connects with local residents.
