【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 귀농・귀촌을 희망하는 도시민을 대상으로 지난 4월부터 진행된 ‘충북에서 살아보기’ 1기 행사를 31일 성황리에 마쳤다고 밝혔다.

‘충북에서 살아보기’ 행사는 총 3가구가 참여했으며, 참가자들은 삼성면 대실농촌체험휴양마을 내 숙소에 4개월간 머무르면서, 농촌생활과 농촌 일자리 체험기회를 갖고 마을 주민과 교류를 통해 귀농・귀촌을 준비하는데 유익한 프로그램으로 진행됐다.

이번 1기 참가자들은 재능나눔 활동을 통해 마을 주민들에게 이발 봉사를 진행했으며, 도시농부와 연계해 다양한 농작업을 배워볼 수 있는 시간을 가졌다. 

또한, 이번 행사를 통해 참가자들은 마을 주민들과 교류하며 농촌의 따뜻한 공동체 문화를 직접 느끼는 특별한 경험도 가졌다.

참가자들은 직접 텃밭을 가꾸고 농산물을 수확하는 신선한 경험을 하며 대부분 몸과 마음의 힐링을 얻었다는 좋은 평가를 한 가운데, 일부 참가자는 4개월간의 체험기간이 부족해 프로그램 운영 기간을 좀 더 늘리면 좋겠다는 의견도 제시했다.

이의식 농촌활력과장은 “충북에서 살아보기 프로그램이 더욱 알차게 운영될 수 있도록 노력하겠으며, 건의 및 애로사항 등을 반영해 내년에는 체험 기간을 늘리도록 긍정적인 검토를 해보겠다”고 말했다.

한편, 군은 오는 8월부터 2기 체험 프로그램을 지속 운영할 예정으로 앞으로도 농촌과 도시를 잇는 교류의 장 확대를 위해 최선을 다할 계획이다.

A total of three households participated in the "Living in North Chungcheong Province" program. Participants stayed in accommodations within the Daesil Rural Experience and Recreational Village in Samseong-myeon for four months. The program provided valuable opportunities to experience rural life and jobs, and fostered interactions with local residents, helping them prepare for their return to farming and rural life.

The first group of participants volunteered to provide haircuts to local residents as part of a talent-sharing program. They also learned various farming techniques through collaboration with urban farmers.

Furthermore, through this event, participants had the unique opportunity to interact with local residents and experience the warm community culture of rural life firsthand.

While participants generally praised the refreshing experience of tending a vegetable garden and harvesting produce, saying it healed both their bodies and minds, some felt the four-month program was insufficient and suggested the program could be extended.

Lee Eui-sik, Head of the Rural Vitality Division, stated, "We will strive to make the Chungbuk Life Experience program even more enriching. We will positively consider extending the program next year by incorporating suggestions and concerns."

Meanwhile, the county plans to continue operating the second phase of the program starting in August and will continue to do its utmost to expand opportunities for exchange between rural and urban areas.
