군에 따르면 이번 이벤트는 ‘이번 여름 음성군 여기 어때?’라는 주제로 진행되며 음성군의 매력적인 여름철 여행지를 널리 알리고, 여름 휴가를 계획하는 관광객들에게 색다를 즐거움을 선사하기 위해 마련됐다.

이번 이벤트는 오는 8월 1일(금)부터 8월 29일(금) 오후 6시까지 진행되며 참여 방법은 다음과 같다. 여름철 음성군 추천 여행지 1곳 이상을 개인 SNS에 업로드하고, 군 공식 SNS 채널 중 1곳을 구독하여 네이버 폼으로 제출하면 된다. 

군은 응모 방법을 모두 충족한 응모자 중 30명을 선정해 9월 중 군 공식 SNS에 공개하고 개별 통보할 예정으로 당첨자들에게는 2만원 상당의 커피 기프티콘을 증정할 계획이다. 

군 관계자는 “이번 이벤트를 통해 여름 휴가철 음성군 여행지를 적극적으로 홍보하고, 더 많은 관광객 유입을 기대한다”며 “남녀노소 누구나 쉽게 참여할 수 있는 이벤트를 통해 군의 다양한 행사와 소식을 널리 알리고, 다양한 연령층과의 소통을 확대할 계획”이라고 덧붙였다.

한편, 군은 공식 SNS로 블로그, 유튜브, 페이스북, 인스타그램, 카카오스토리, 트위터, 카카오톡 채널을 운영하고 있다.
