【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충주예총(회장 최내현)은 충주댐 물 문화관에서 ‘대한민국 물 대축전 제4회 전국학생미술실기대회 및 백일장 시상식'을 성황리 개최했다고 31일 밝혔다.

지난 7월 12일 충주 탄금공원에서 열린 본대회는 ‘깨끗한 물, 행복한 지구’와 ‘물과 행복’을 주제로, 환경과 물의 소중함을 일깨우고자 마련됐다.

대회는 충주예총이 주최 및 주관했으며, 한국수자원공사 충주댐지사, 환경부, 충청북도, 충주시, 충청북도교육청, 충청북도충주교육지원청, (사)한국미술협회 충주지부, (사)한국문인협회 충주지부의 후원으로 진행됐다.

총 1,000여 명이 참가해 열띤 경연을 펼쳤으며, 수상작들은 미술과 문학 전문가로 구성된 심사위원단의 공정한 심사를 거쳐 선정됐다.

시상식에는 정연수 한국수자원공사 충주댐 지사장을 비롯한 주요 인사들이 참석해, 총 50명의 수상자에게 상장과 상금을 수여했다.

대상인 환경부 장관상은 서울예술고등학교 1학년 한수연 학생이 수상했으며, 올해 신설된 백일장 부문의 장원은 충주예성여고 이효림, 충주여중 장윤서, 탄금초 이서율, 충주남한강초 권지아 학생이 각각 수상의 영예를 안았다.

정연수 한국수자원공사 충주댐지사장은 “해를 거듭할수록 참가자들의 열띤 참여 속 작품 수준이 높아지고 있어 감사하다”라며, “앞으로도 어린이와 청소년들이 재능을 마음껏 펼칠 기회의 장을 마련하겠다”라고 말했다.

The Chungju Arts Council (President Choi Nae-hyun) announced on the 31st that it successfully held the "Korea Water Festival 4th National Student Art Competition and Essay Contest Awards Ceremony" at the Chungju Dam Water Culture Center.

The main competition, held on July 12th at Tangeum Park in Chungju, focused on the themes of "Clean Water, Happy Earth" and "Water and Happiness," and aimed to raise awareness of the importance of the environment and water.

The competition was hosted and organized by the Chungju Arts Council and sponsored by the Korea Water Resources Corporation Chungju Dam Branch, the Ministry of Environment, North Chungcheong Province, Chungju City, North Chungcheong Provincial Office of Education, North Chungcheong Province Chungju Office of Education, the Korea Fine Arts Association Chungju Branch, and the Korea Writers Association Chungju Branch.

Jeong Yeon-soo, Director of the Chungju Dam Branch of the Korea Water Resources Corporation, said, "I am grateful that the quality of the entries continues to improve with each passing year thanks to the enthusiastic participation of the participants.
