여름 성수기를 맞아 단양군 청년연합회와 단양군 그리고 단양관광공사가 민관 거버넌스 협력 사업의 일환으로 추진하는 이번 사업은 무더운 여름 만천하 전망대를 방문하는 관광객을 대상으로 무더위를 이겨낼 생수 7,000개와 부채 1,500개를 3일에 걸쳐 나눠줄 예정이다.

7월 30일 행사에서 얼음 생수를 받은 한 관광객은 “찌는 듯한 더위에 시원한 생수와 부채를 받아드니 불쾌지수도 낮아지고 더욱 즐거운 여행길이 될 수 있을 것 같다.”라고 높은 만족감을 표현했다.
