이번 대회에는 전국 33개 초등학교에서 U11 27팀, U12 29팀 등 총 56개 팀이 참가, 선수와 지도자, 학부모 등 약 2,000여 명이 괴산을 찾아 수준 높은 경기를 펼치며 괴산군을 축구 열기로 가득 채웠다.

특히 대회 기간 동안 참가자와 가족들은 지역의 호텔, 펜션, 민박 등 숙박시설을 이용하고, 인근 식당과 전통시장, 카페 등 상권을 활발히 이용해 지역경제에도 큰 활력을 불어넣었다.
