이번 회의는 장기봉 부군수 주재로 열렸으며, 9개 읍면의 부읍면장 등 관계자들이 참석해 민생 회복 소비쿠폰 사업의 전반적인 추진 방향을 점검 논의했다.

이날 회의에서는 소비쿠폰을 활용한 지역경제 활성화 방안과 함께, 취약계층을 대상으로 한 ‘찾아가는 신청 서비스’ 운영, 소비쿠폰 신청 및 사용 방법에 대한 적극적인 홍보 전략 등이 중점적으로 다뤄졌다.

앞서 군은 부군수를 단장으로 하는 ‘민생회복 소비쿠폰 TF’를 구성하고, 소비쿠폰 지급이 소비 진작과 지역경제 활성화로 신속하게 이어질 수 있도록 대응 체제를 구축해 운영 중이다. 

장기봉 부군수는 “어려움을 겪고 있는 군민, 특히 취약계층이 소외되지 않도록 직접 찾아가 도움을 드리는 행정이 무엇보다 중요하다”며 “소비쿠폰이 실제 지역 상권에 도움이 되고, 군민 모두가 체감할 수 있는 정책이 될 수 있도록 읍면과의 긴밀한 협조를 당부한다”고 말했다.
