【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 2026년 본예산 편성에 군민들의 다양하고 참신한 의견을 반영하기 위한 ‘주민참여예산 제안사업 공모’를 오는 8월 1일까지 진행한다고 밝혔다.

‘주민참여예산제’는 예산 편성 과정에 주민의 참여를 보장해 예산의 투명성과 책임성을 높이고, 실질적인 재정민주주의를 구현하기 위한 제도이다.

군은 △군민 생활과 관련된 공공성 있는 사업을 신청하는 군민공모 사업(5.3억원) △각 읍면 주민자치회에서 추진하는 주민자치 사업(2.7억원) △각 읍면에서 추진하는 읍면공모 사업(9억원) △관내 청년들이 신청할 수 있는 청년참여 사업(2억원)으로 구분해 총 19억원 규모로 추진한다.

이번 주민참여예산은 오는 8월 1일까지 음성군민 누구나 군 홈페이지에 제안하거나 읍면 행정복지센터를 방문해 신청서를 제출할 수 있다.

접수된 사업은 소관부서 검토와 위원회 심의를 거쳐 내년도 군 본예산 편성에 반영할 예정이다.

조병옥 군수는 “음성군에 꼭 필요한 사업들이 제안돼 군민 삶의 질 향상과 군 발전에 도움이 되길 기대한다”며 “군민 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 당부드린다”고 말했다.
