【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=금석어린이집(원장 김미희)은 3일 음성군청을 방문해 어린이집 운영위원회 지원으로 개최한 플리마켓의 수익금 100만원을 음성군에 기탁했다.

기탁식에는 어린이집 원생, 선생님, 학부모들이 함께 참석해 따뜻한 분위기를 더했다. 아이들은 직접 물품을 판매하며 모은 기부금을 손수 전달하는 시간에 흥분을 감추지 못했다. 

김미희 원장은 “아이들과 나눔의 기쁨을 경험하고 싶어 함께 기탁식에 참석했다”며 “우리 아이들이 자라서도 이 같은 따뜻한 마음을 간직하길 바란다”고 말했다.

조병옥 군수는 “아이들이 마음을 담아 전해준 기부금이 더없이 값지게 느껴진다”며 “아이들의 순수한 나눔 정신을 본받아 더 따뜻한 지역사회를 만들어가겠다”며 감사 인사를 전했다. 

한편 금왕읍에 소재한 금석어린이집은 49인 정원 국공립어린이집으로 2023년과 2024년 플리마켓 수익금을 음성군장학회 장학금으로 기부한 바 있다.
