【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군은 음성읍 설성시네마에서 11월 2일부터 3일까지 ‘설성영화제’와 11월 4일부터 15일까지 ‘작은영화관 기획전’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.

올해 처음으로 열리는 이번 설성영화제와 작은영화관 기획전은 작은영화관인 설성시네마를 지역주민들의 영상문화 향유 공간으로 활성화하기 위해 추진됐다.

‘설성영화제’는 11월 2일 오전 10시에 개막식을 시작으로 이틀간 오전 9시부터 오후 9시까지 설성시네마에서 추억의 영화 ‘소풍’과 최신영화 ‘아마존 활명수, 베놈3’를 무료로 상영하며, 청소년(음성고)들의 단편 제작 영화와 숏폼 공모 당선작도 상영된다.

또 시네마 주차장에서는 체험부스(가죽지갑, 지각인형, 페이스페인팅 등), 포토존, 인생네컷, 팝콘 나눔 등을 마련해 행사를 진행한다.

작은영화관 기획전은 문화체육관광부와 영화진흥위원회가 주최하는 공모사업으로 지난 7월 음성군 설성시네마를 포함 전국 15개의 작은영화관이 선정됐으며, 설성시네마에서는 11월 4일부터 15일까지 10편의 영화를 매일 2~3회씩 총 30회를 무료로 상영한다. 

특히 11월 14일 오후 2시 ‘광대 소리꾼’ 영화 상영 후에는 ‘조동언’ 판소리꾼과의 판소리에 대한 해석 및 관객과의 자유로운 토크 프로그램도 진행할 예정이다.

조병옥 군수는 “이번 설성영화제 및 기획전을 통해 설성시네마가 영화를 관람하는 장소를 넘어 지역민들이 문화를 나누고 삶을 잇는 마당으로 거듭날 수 있는 기회가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 군민 문화복지 실현을 위해 다각적인 노력을 기울이겠다”고 말했다.
