【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=단양 패러글라이딩 사회적협동조합(이하 패러협동조합)은 지난 29일 가곡면사무소를 방문해 후원금 100만 원을 기탁했다.

2022년에 설립된 패러협동조합은 가곡면 사평4리(두산)에 있으며 5명의 임직원과 함께 교육생 양성, 패러 레저산업 활성화를 목표로 활동하고 있다.

또 같은 해 가곡면지역사회보장협의체와 업무협약을 체결해 저소득 주민 복지 향상과 지역사회 나눔문화 확산을 위해서도 꾸준히 노력해오고 있으며 매년 정기적으로 후원을 약속한 바 있다.

김종목 패러협동조합 이사장은 “지속적인 후원으로 생활이 취약한 주민들이 골고루 혜택받을 수 있도록 아낌없이 지원하겠다”며 “가곡면지역사회보장협의체와 협력해 시너지 효과를 낼 수 있도록 더욱더 노력하겠다”고 말했다.

윤명선 가곡면장은 “소외된 이웃을 생각하는 마음에 감사드린다”며 “전해주신 성금은 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 도움과 희망이 되도록 소중히 사용하겠다”고 전했다.
