【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군은 지난 27일 속리산국립공원의 관광활성화를 위해 속리산관광협의회가 주관한 ‘제22회 속리산 문장대 등반대회’가 성료했다고 밝혔다. 

이번 대회는 아침 7시 등반 참가자 접수를 시작으로 속리산 잔디공원을 출발해 문장대에서 진행요원의 등반 확인증을 받고 돌아오는 코스로 운영됐다. 

참가자들은 푸른 숲이 펼쳐진 오솔길과 울긋불긋 단풍이 있는 길을 가로질러 문장대에 오르며 속리산의 자연을 만끽하는 시간을 보냈다.

특히, 세조길 구간은 대회 참가자들과 행락객들이 어우러져 인산인해를 이루었으며, 저수지 주변 쉼터에는 삼삼오오 모여 담소를 나누는 등 주말 낮 여유와 쉼을 누리는 사람들로 가득 찼다.

등반대회를 마친 후 속리산 조각공원에서 등반대회 참가자와 관광객들이 어우러져 노래자랑과 초청 가수의 공연이 즐거움을 만끽하는 시간이 됐다.

또한 경품추첨을 통해 대형 냉장고와 텔레비전을 비롯해 쌀, 라면, 커피 등 각종 먹거리 등을 대회 참가자에게 제공하며 등산을 통해 건강도 찾고 경품도 얻는 일석이조의 행사가 되었다.

최재형 군수는 “이번 등반대회를 통해 많은 분들이 속리산의 아름다움과 멋스러움을 만끽하는 시간이 되었길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 속리산의 매력을 알려 속리산 관광 활성화를 위해 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.
