【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=교육 발전 특구 시범 선도지역으로 선정된 진천군과 음성군은 25일 충북혁신도시 복합혁신센터에서 ‘진천·음성 교육 발전 특구 비전 선포식’을 개최했다.

  이번 선포식은 ‘다 같이, 더 가치 교육으로 행복한 도시’라는 비전의 교육 발전 특구 선도지역 선정을 기념하고 군민과 함께 특구 관련 내용을 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.

  현장에는 송기섭 진천군수, 조병옥 음성군수를 비롯해 양군 의회 의장, 교육장, 도의회 의장, 초중등 교장단, 학교학부모연합회장, 학교운영위 협의회장, 혁신도시 초등학생 등 300여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다. 

  행사는 1부 비전 선포식과 2부 학교 밖 늘봄프로그램 문화공연으로 나눠 진행됐다. 

  1부에서는 양군의 교육 발전 특구 지역 협력체 구성원과 학생, 학부모들을 초청, 옥동초, 원당초 학생들의 치어리딩, 플루트 공연을 시작으로 △교육 발전 특구 영상 시청 △교육 발전 특구 추진 경과보고 △비전 선포 기념 퍼포먼스 등을 진행됐다.

  교육 발전 특구 영상에는 진천·음성 양군이 협업해 추진하는 늘봄학교, 디지털 교육 혁신 등 4대 분야 16개 혁신과제를 소개하는 내용이 담겼으며, 서강석 진천교육지원청 교육장이 교육 발전 특구 지정 추진 경과, 시범사업의 주요 과제를 정리해 발표했다.

  이어 교육 발전 특구 지역 협력체 구성원, 학생, 학부모 등 17명이 중앙 무대에 올라 새로운 시작을 의미하는 불꽃 영상을 배경으로 한 퍼포먼스를 진행하며 1부 행사를 마무리했다.

  2부 행사에서는 충북혁신도시 내 늘봄, 돌봄 참여 초등학생들을 위해 학교 밖 늘봄 프로그램 ‘우리 동네 늘봄놀이터’ 개장을 기념하는 축하공연이 펼쳐졌다.

  해당 공간은 전국적으로 시행 중인 ‘늘봄학교’를 학교뿐만 아니라 지역사회의 다양한 인프라를 활용해 아이들의 성장과 발달을 돕도록 하는 진천·음성형 지역 연계 문화예술 늘봄 프로그램이다.

  박진숙 교육청소년과장은 “진천·음성이 함께하는 늘봄 동행 에피소드는 지금부터 시작”이라며 “교육 발전 특구 선도지역으로서 ‘늘봄학교’의 원활한 운영과 성공적 안착을 위해 교육 현장과 함께 고민하고 유기적으로 협력해 나가겠다”라고 말했다.
