【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자= 충북도는 14일 도(시·군)와 한국농어촌공사 간 저수지 재난정보 공유 시범운영에 대하여 협약을 체결하였다.

 협약 내용은 한국농어촌공사 관리 저수지의 수위 등 재난정보를 시·군에 즉각 공유(문자)하는 내용이며, 우리 도에서 시범운영을 추진하고 2025년부터 전국으로 확대 운영된다.

 기상이변으로 저수지의 중요성이 높아지고 있는 시점에 전국최초로 재난정보를 공유하는 이번 시범사업은 큰 의미가 있다.

 특히, 재난정보 공유로 하천하류의 수위 등이 예측 가능함에 따라 저수지 하류의 주민대피 등 재난골든타임 확보로 도민의 생명과 재산을 보호하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다. 

 충청북도의 제안과 한국농어촌공사의 적극적인 지원으로 이루어 낸 성과로, 재난시스템 통합운영으로 시·군 자체운영의 어려움을 해소하고, 우리도 기준 시스템 구축비용 및 운영비 등의 예산 33억원이 절감되는 등의 효과가 날 것으로 예상된다.
