충북도의회 건설환경소방위원회 이동우 의원(청주1, 사진)은 미동산수목원의 이용 활성화를 위해 ‘충청북도 미동산수목원 관리·운영 조례 일부개정안’을 준비 중이다.

이 조례안은 야외에서 작지만 특별한 결혼식을 올릴 수 있는 공간을 제공하기 위한 것으로 ‘수목원 및 시설물의 사용 허가와 제한에 관한 조문 정비’ 및 ‘수목원을 활용한 결혼식 장소·시설물 대여 규정 신설’ 등을 담을 예정이다.

충북도는 이와 유사하게 2015년부터 ‘청남대 야외예식장’ 지원 사업을 추진하고 있는데 지난해까지 13건의 야외 결혼식이 진행됐으며 청남대의 인기 상승에 따라 올해는 24건의 야외 결혼식이 예약 완료됐다.
