【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천군 통합방위협의회는 7일 육군 제37보병사단을 찾아 설 명절을 앞두고 충북지역의 향토방위를 책임지고 있는 국군 장병을 격려하고 위문금을 전달했다.

  송기섭 진천군 통합방위협의회 의장은 “향토방위와 각종 재난ㆍ재해 시 대민 지원에 앞장서는 군 장병들의 노고에 깊은 감사를 드린다”라고 말했다.

  제37보병사단 관계자는 “군ㆍ관 화합과 소통, 상호 이해의 폭을 넓혀가며 지역방위 태세를 공고히 할 수 있도록 긴밀한 협조체계 유지와 유대관계 형성을 위해 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.

  한편 진천군 통합방위협의회는 설 명절을 맞아 지난 2일부터 제110여단 3대대를 비롯한 관할 군부대와 예비군 지역대를 방문해 위로와 격려를 이어가고 있다.

   The Jincheon-gun Integrated Defense Council visited the Army's 37th Infantry Division on the 7th to encourage and provide consolation money to the South Korean soldiers responsible for homeland defense in the North Chungcheong region ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.

   Song Ki-seop, chairman of the Jincheon-gun Integrated Defense Council, said, “I am deeply grateful for the hard work of military service members who take the lead in homeland defense and in providing support to citizens in the event of various disasters.”

   An official from the 37th Infantry Division said, “We will strive to maintain a close cooperation system and form ties so that we can strengthen the regional defense posture by expanding military-government harmony, communication, and mutual understanding.”
