【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북과학기술혁신원(원장 고근석, 이하 ʻ충북과기원ʼ)은 충주의료원(원장 윤창규), (주)KT와 함께 로봇을 활용한 국민체감·의료시설 이용편의 증진을 위한 업무협약을 체결하였다. 

이번 협약은 로봇을 도입하여 충주의료원의 의료시설 이용 편익 증진 및 로봇 도입을 통한 충주의료원의 발전과 함께 충주 의료시설의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 방안을 모색하기 위해 체결되었다.

충북과기원과 ㈜KT는 충주의료원 내 로봇 도입 및 로봇산업 발전, 로봇관련 일자리 창출사업 등을 통해 지역 사회 발전에 기여할 것이며 충주의료원은 로봇도입을 통한 이용객 편익증진 및 의료지원인력 피로도 감소를 통한 이용객 만족도 상승, 의료시설 경쟁력 강화 통해 충주의료발전에 기여할 것이다. 

고근석 원장은 “이번 협약을 통해 로봇을 통한 충주의료원의 이용 편의 증진 및 로봇산업과 연관된 사업으로 발전할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 되었다”며 이에 따라 로봇산업 및 과학기술의 발전과 지역사회의 발전에 힘쓰겠다는 의지를 밝혔다.

이번 협약은 충북지역 특히 의료산업, 로봇산업의 발전을 위한 좋은 기회가 될 것으로 기대된다.
