【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도 남부출장소(소장 강찬식)는 3월 23일 정환기 전(前) 보은군체육회장을 명예 남부출장소장으로 위촉하고 「1일 명예 남부출장소장 집무의 날」을 운영했다.

 「1일 명예출장소장 집무의 날」은 남부권 도민의 도정참여 활성화를 통한 열린행정 실현 및 지역주민들의 다양한 의견수렴의 장으로서 연 3회 시행하고 있다.  

 보은군체육회장을 역임하고 제1기 보은군정책자문단 문화관광분과 위원장으로 활동하고 있는 정환기 명예소장은 남부출장소 주요업무현황 보고 받은 후 현안업무 결재 등으로 남부출장소장 집무를 수행했다.

 또한 ’22년 12월 신축·이전하여 개청한 남부출장소 청사 시설을 견학한 후, 옥천군 이원면 소재 충청북도산림바이오센터를 방문하여 산림바이오 수요와 공급 정보체계를 구축한 연구시설, 생산단지 등을 둘러보았고,

 옥천군 청산면 소재 내수면산업연구소(남부내수면지원과)로 이동하여 토종민물고기 생산보급 및 고부가가치 관상어 양식연구 현장을 둘러보는 등 지역현안을 꼼꼼하게 살펴보았다.

 정환기 1일 명예출장소장은 “남부출장소 청사 신축·이전 후 첫 명예소장으로 집무하게 되어 영광으로 생각하며, 앞으로 남부출장소가 소통과 참여를 통한 남부권 균형발전의 구심점 역할을 다해주기를 바란다”라고 말했다.
