【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충청북도괴산증평교육지원청(안순자 교육장)은 23일 소규모유치원 공동교육과정 운영위한 유치원교사 협의회를 진행했다. 

괴산증평지역의 공립유치원 중 83%가 1학급 소규모유치원으로 운영되고 있으며, 유아수가 적은 유치원 교육활동 지원을 위해 유치원 교사 네트워크 형성 및 소규모유치원 공동교육과정을 운영하고 있다. 인근지역의 소규모 5개 유치원씩 모아서 3지구로 운영하고 있으며, 동인초등학교병설유치원을 중심으로 거점형 공동교육과정을 운영하고 있다.   

규모유치원 공동교육과정 운영을 위해 지역 실정 및 특색을 고려한 내실있는 사업으로 유치원간 체험학습 및 행사를 계획하였고, 지속적인 교사 간 정보 공유 및 학습공동체 운영으로 교사들의 역량을 강화할 뿐 아니라, 학부모와 함께 소통하며 공감하는 유아교육으로 협력·성장해 가고자 노력하고 있다.  

협의회에 참여한 이승연 교사는 “1학급 운영의 어려움을 함께 나누면서 공감과 위로가 되었고,  소규모 유치원의 특성에 맞는 공동 교육과정 운영방안을 찾아가는 동안 선배교사들의 경험과 나눔을 통해 유치원 운영에 많은 도움이 되었다”고 전했다.
