【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=농가와 기업에 일할 능력이 있는 개인이나 단체를 연결하는 ‘일손이음 지원사업’에 충북 옥천군 자원봉사단체 회원들이 한마음 한뜻으로 결의를 다지기 위해 한자리에 모였다.

1사1 일손이음 운동 동참 자매결연 협약을 맺은 6개 단체(군북여성자율방범대, 마중물적십자봉사회, 옥천청담로타리클럽, 이랑봉사단, 작은사랑봉사단, 한마음봉사단)를 비롯하여 총 22개의 단체들이 의기투합해 100여 명의 봉사자들이 농가의 일손을 돕기 위해 두 팔을 걷어붙였다.

자원봉사자들은 충북 옥천읍 삼청리 일대의 집결지에 모여 결의를 다진 후, 각 단체별로 맡은 농가에 뿔뿔이 흩어져 복숭아 적뢰 작업과 포도밭 부직포 깔기 작업을 진행하였다.

농가주 A씨는 “해도 해도 끊임없는 복숭아 적뢰 작업에 많은 손들이 거들어 주시니 시름이 걷히는 느낌”이라며 반가운 기색을 드러냈다.

금정숙 옥천군 자원봉사센터장은 “도움이 필요할 때마다 즐거운 마음으로 일손을 도와주러 오시는 자원봉사자 여러분께 진심으로 감사의 말씀을 드린다”고 말했다.

한편 일손이음사업은 유휴인력에 대한 일자리 문제와 농가·기업의 인력난 문제를 동시에 해결하기 위해 추진되는 사업으로, 일할 능력이 있는 봉사자가 일손이 부족한 농가 및 중소 제조기업에 4시간의 일손을 제공하고 2만 5천원의 실비를 지급받는 사업이다.
