【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군(군수 조병옥)이 미래를 바꿀 핵심전략으로 성장 가능성이 큰 ‘4+1 신성장산업(에너지 신산업, 시스템반도체, 이차전지 헬스케어 + 기후대응농업)’을 선정하고 이를 성공시키기 위해 분주한 모습이다. 

이중 ‘시스템반도체 산업(S:System chip)’의 육성은 정부의 K-반도체 전략과 충북 반도체산업 육성 전략 속에 군이 포함되어있어 전망이 밝다.

군은 메모리반도체보다 시스템반도체 시장 규모가 훨씬 크며 도래하는 4차 산업혁명 시대에 핵심 산업으로 향후 매우 높은 성장이 전망될 뿐만 아니라 정부와 충북도에서도 많은 투자가 계획되어 있는 만큼 이를 잘 활용하여 2030 음성시 건설 가속화를 프로그래밍해 나가겠다는 방침이다.

음성군의 ‘시스템반도체 산업 육성 전략’은 크게 시스템반도체 특화단지 조성 및 반도체 특화단지 지정, 시스템반도체 전략기업 육성 및 기술개발 지원, 충북 반도체 클러스터 구축 및 투자유치다.

2022년 매출액 1조6753억원, 영업이익 7687억원(이익률 46%) 등 4년 연속 최대 실적을 달성하고 있는 DB하이텍(음성군 감곡면)을 중심으로 군은 1조20억원의 직‧간접 투자를 통해 시스템반도체 중부권 핵심 거점으로 성장할 계획이다.
