【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=음성군농업기술센터(소장 이순찬)는 17일 제16기 음성농업대학 교육생 47명이 참석한 가운데 개강식을 개최했다.

이날 개강식에는 수강에 임하는 교육생 결의 및 학사 운영 소개, 과정별 학생장 선출 등 교육에 대한 세부 내용 전달과 교육생 간 소통의 시간 순으로 진행됐다. 

음성농업대학은 지역농업의 특화발전을 위한 장기 교육으로 2008년 농업 리더, 농산물마케팅, 원예 과정을 시작으로 현재까지 597명의 전문농업경영인을 육성했으며, 농산물의 고부가가치 창출 및 지역농업발전에도 큰 역할을 하고 있다. 

16기 음성농업대학의 과정은 복숭아와 기후대응농업 2과정으로 운영되며 17일부터 10월 11일까지 약 7개월간 내부 강사 및 전문 강사를 초빙해 심층적인 교육을 실시 할 예정이다. 

복숭아과정은 고품질 복숭아 재배기술, 전지·전정의 이해, 접목 실습, 병해충관리 등의 내용을 담았고, 기후대응농업과정은 시설하우스 기초 및 환경관리, 스마트농업 현장적용, 기후변화대응 아열대작물 재배기술 등의 교과 내용을 담았다. 또한 현장 견학과 수료 연수를 통해 내실 있고 만족도 높은 교육과정을 운영할 예정이다. 

과정별 23회 총 92시간으로 계획한 이번 음성농업대학은 집합교육 및 농번기에는 컨텐츠(동영상) 교육으로 운영될 예정이다.
