4일간 개최했던「2023 전국종별농구대잔치」가 선수단, 학부모 등 관계자 2천여 명이 지역 내 체류하며, 소비한 것으로 알려진 가운데, 시는 이번 협약으로 3년간 비수기(1~2월)에 매년 2천여 명이 제천을 찾을 것으로 내다보고 있다.
