【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 옥천군은 에너지 가격 급등으로 어려움을 겪는 에너지 취약계층을 대상으로 동절기 난방연료인 등유·LPG 구입비를 지원한다. 

지원대상은 기초생활수급세대 또는 차상위세대 중 등유·LPG를 주된 난방수단으로 사용하는 가구이다. 

지난해 등유바우처, 연탄쿠폰 또는 긴급복지지원(동절기 연료비)을 수급한 세대 및 세대원 전체가 보장시설에서 급여를 받는 세대 등은 제외된다.

대상가구는 오는 4월 7일까지 주거지 관할 행정복지센터에 신청서를 제출하면 된다. 

직접 신청이 어려운 경우 담당공무원과 행정절차법에 따라 이장·사회복지사 등을 대리인으로 선임하면 대리신청도 가능하다. 

지원대상으로 선정되면 행정복지센터에서 카드발급(기초생활수급자) 또는 종이쿠폰(차상위계층)을 수령해 오는 3월 27일부터 6월 30일까지 난방용 등유·LPG를 구입할 때 사용할 수 있다.

기존 에너지바우처 수급세대에는 ‘2022년 동절기 에너지바우처 지원액’의 차액(8천4백원~34만3천8백원)을 지원하며 기초생활수급자 중 에너지바우처 미수급세대와 차상위계층에는 59만2천원을 지원할 예정이다. 

황규철 옥천군수는 “한파와 난방요금 인상으로 경제적 부담을 겪고 있는 취약계층을 적극적으로 발굴해 신속한 지원이 제공되도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
