【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자= 지역 농업발전의 선도 주체로 농촌지역사회에서 보다 나은 생활환경을 만들기 위해 노력하고 있는 한국생활개선진천군연합회는 16일 진천농업기술센터에서 이·취임식을 개최했다.

  이 자리에는 송기섭 진천군수를 비롯한 농업관련 유관기관 단체장, 생활개선회원 등 100여 명이 참석한 가운데 제14대 남상남 회장이 제15대 최용선(54세 여) 신임회장에게 생활개선회기를 넘겼다.

  이날 남 이임회장은 지난 2021년부터 2년간 생활개선회 발전을 위해 기여한 공로를 인정받아 공로패 및 감사패를 받았다.

  특히 이번 행사에서는 기업유치세수 농업환원사업 등 혁신성장, 농업도시 건설을 위해 선진 농정을 펼치는 송 군수에게 400여 생활개선회원이 마음을 담아 감사패를 전달하기도 했다.

  최 신임회장은 취임사에서 “생활개선회가 더 큰 단체로 발전할 수 있도록 회원 여러분이 힘을 모아주길 바란다”며 “경쟁력 있는 농촌여성이 되기 위해 다양한 노력을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 말했다.

  한편 한국생활개선진천군연합회는 현재 7개 읍·면 생활개선회와 3개 연구회분과(생활원예, 향토음식, 전통문화), 3개 동아리(한울림 풍물, 퓨전난타, 팬플룻)에서 400여 명이 활동하고 있는 여성농업인 학습단체다.
