【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자=진천읍행정복지센터는 15일 봄을 맞이해 읍내 10개 기관･체와 함께 국토대청결운동을 펼쳤다.

  이날 현장에는 진천읍이장단협의회, 주민자치회, 새마을지도자협의회, 새마을부녀자협의회, 지역사회보장협의체, 남성의용소방대, 여성의용소방대, 생활개선회, 대한적십자진천봉사회, 하나님의 교회 등에서 200여 명이 참석했다.

  참석자들은 시가지 주변 골목과 도로변 등 청소취약 지역에 쌓여있던 쓰레기를 수거하며 쾌적한 생활환경 조성에 힘을 보탰다.

  이관희 진천읍장은 “많은 읍민들의 참여와 적극적인 단체들의 동참으로 깨끗한 진천읍 이미지를 유지할 수 있게 됐다”라며 “앞으로도 많은 기관 및 단체가 참여할 수 있는 여건 마련과 분위기 조성에 적극 노력하겠다”라고 말했다.
